Ancient Shan Tuyet tea from the high mountains of Ha Giang, Vietnam, traditionally processed and pressed into natural bamboo for a distinctive tea with remarkable depth and character.
Crafted from tender buds and young leaves of ancient Shan Tuyet tea trees, this unusual Vietnamese tea reflects its mountain origin through a complex, evolving flavour. The compressed leaves gradually open as they brew, producing a luminous amber-gold infusion with gentle smokiness, natural sweetness and layers of warm, earthy character.
Notes of young grain, mountain herbs and warm wood unfold across successive infusions, while a soft smoky character adds depth without overwhelming the tea’s natural freshness.
From the old tea trees of Vietnam’s northern mountains to its traditional bamboo form, this is a distinctive expression of Ha Giang tea heritage — made to be brewed slowly and discovered across multiple infusions.
