Rare Vietnamese Yellow Tea crafted from young buds and leaves of ancient Shan Tuyet tea trees growing high among the mist-covered mountains of Ta Xua, Son La.
Hand-harvested from tea trees over 300 years old at elevations of approximately 1,600–2,500 metres, the young bud-and-leaf shoots are carefully selected and gently processed using the distinctive method that gives yellow tea its characteristic golden appearance and beautifully softened character.
The result is a clear golden infusion with a delicate aroma and remarkably smooth profile. Gentle initial astringency gradually gives way to deep natural sweetness, leaving a clean, lingering finish that becomes increasingly expressive across successive infusions.
An unusual expression of Vietnam’s ancient mountain tea heritage, this is a tea to brew slowly and revisit across multiple infusions as its sweetness and depth continue to develop.
